We have a fantastic opportunity to work within our client’s established UK Solar Construction team.

 Our client, an international utility and independent power producer, is looking for an experienced project manager to drive projects forward from the Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD) safely, on time, to quality and budget and then provide a successful handover to the Operations Team.

The main responsibilities of this role include the ability to liaise with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, and contractors to support each project. You will also be confident in liaising with the project team to ensure the correct discharge of any planning conditions to the relevant grid works as well as being able to demonstrate tendering and negotiation skills with regards to EPC and ICP scopes and contracts.  You will also have demonstrable experience in the supervision and management of the chosen EPC and ICP through the delivery phase.

Ideally, you will possess PRINCE 2/APMP Professional and SMSTS/NEBOSH/IOSH accreditations. In addition to these recognised qualifications, you will have demonstrable experience in negotiation and working under commercial contract frameworks such as NEC3/4, FIDIC etc. Previous experience in delivering utility-scale solar experience is necessary and a degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.
