REGIONAL PROJECT PLANNER, Wind Energy

We have a fantastic opportunity to work within a Project Management Office of global wind turbine manufacturer (OEM).
Our client, is looking for an experienced Project Planner to drive projects in onshore wind farms across the Mediterranean region from tender phase, through construction to handover.
Main responsibilities will include monitoring and coordinating a regional portfolio of projects looking at milestone achievements based on the creation of a regional project portfolio plan.
You will update the overall schedule by gathering relevant information from all Functions in the company and consolidating it within the schedule to track not only the portfolio progress but also each individual project’s progress.
You will have demonstrable experience in collaborating with Project Managers and Commercial Managers to create the basis for decision-making and be confident in coordinating involved parties for decision-making within the region. Equally, you will manage conflicts on a regional basis and propose priorities, future scenarios and action plans to recover the delays which are integral to the critical points of the planning stages.
Regarding planning within individual projects you will be able to analyse and monitor the critical path and floats of the project to ensure the fulfilment of planning by the organisation and implement milestones that reflect readiness for the execution of construction sites. You will be experienced in providing feedback to Tender Management concerning THE planning structure, assumptions and rules and provide program solutions in VBA for Excel. You will have good Primavera experience.
